Spring Cleanup
(Dumpster Day)
Each Spring Colfax Township-Oceana provides 2 trash dumpsters to allow the community members to dispose of unwanted items at no cost to them. Restrictions apply.
Cemetery Improvements
Colfax Township-Oceana is continuing its efforts to improve the Colfax Township Cemetery. We are currently working to improve the mapping of the cemetery and provide headstones for Veterans.
Scrap Tire Collection
2025 saw Colfax Township-Oceana partnering with the Oceana County Conservation District to sponsor a scrap tire collection.
Total collected: 780 tires.
Beach Clean Up
In 2025 the Colfax-Oceana Township Board voted to provide a much needed beach cleanup. A local vendor was hired to sift the beach sand and remove leaves and debris from the lake.
